Project ID: KEGA 013TTU-4/2021
Solution period: 2021 - 2023
Project leader: PaedDr. Krisztina Czakóová, PhD.
Annotacion: The project was focused on the use of interactive computer animation-simulation models of real-world objects in education. Simulation models play an important role in teaching because they support active and in-depth learning of the so-called "deep learning", especially in the exact sciences, where the subject of teaching is dynamic phenomena and processes that can be expressed by a mathematical model.
The project was also devoted to the investigation of a suitable combination of didactic, methodological and technological procedures and tools that effectively support the active acquisition of new knowledge of learners and simultaneously develop their ability for independent creative and critical thinking based on constructivist theories.
The research was focused on the methodology of using and creating interactive animation-simulation models, which represent concentrated information about the investigated phenomenon (in the form of an exact mathematical model). Well-planned and correctly implemented simulation experiments enable the discovery of essential facts and properties of the object under investigation and thus construct new knowledge and build one's own knowledge system.
